This pie (and its variations) has been a stable in our family since the time I was a student. When studying in England, this pie’s ‘mother’ recipe was given to us by a local teacher. I can’t actually remember the exact recipe and this is not it, as it would not have had salsa nor the mango chutney in it. It could have had Cheddar cheese, as that is a common cheese in UK. I used extra strong, as we are indeed fans of that cheese. Pretty quick and easy to make and pretty good to eat! Vegetarian too!
